M41 electronics problem
 

Hi I need a little help. A few weeks ago the main gun would not depress. On checkeng found the cam gear would turn when wired direct. I found a crushed wire in the harness, so replaced the harness ,since then I have lost the headlight and flashing machine gun light. I can see no broken wires. Any thoughts?

If all your wiring is in order you may have zapped something in the board with that dead short you had.

The wires you are talking about are vary thin and cheep also usually vary poorly soldered together.
They are also connected together so it makes sense that you would have both stop functioning.
Check the wires,then the solder, look at the small hook up board attached to the top hull, if they are good it may be the board .
