RE: Tiger 1 Initial 111 s.Pz.Abt. 502
Yeah, back the lamp head with foil that you bake with and the light will be much brighter. But, I don't use lights and wouldn't want the lamps to be much brighter (on a tank) in real life anyway. :D
I do like those Notek lamps ... now those would look cool illuminated. ~ Jeff |
RE: Tiger 1 Initial 111 s.Pz.Abt. 502
Great build so far. I have always loved the Initial Tigers. Does the 502nd one you are doing have the front mud-guards? If so have you found a suitable material for them yet? i have a Tamiya Tiger I and would love to do a Pz.Abt501 Tunisia Initial but I cannot find any material that captures the look of the waffle style front flaps.
Looking forward to your next update! |

RE: Tiger 1 Initial 111 s.Pz.Abt. 502
It may be some time before I get the Tunisian Initial going because my King Tiger just seems to take longer and longer to finish! Thanks foir the Aber tip... that at least removes one piece to find.
Loving your proeject and making lots of notes on the mods I will need to make. |
RE: Tiger 1 Initial 111 s.Pz.Abt. 502

RE: Tiger 1 Initial 111 s.Pz.Abt. 502

RE: Tiger 1 Initial 111 s.Pz.Abt. 502
Fantastic attention to detail and work!
I did an Initial a while back, but nowhere near as extensive (and accurate) as yours. Simply excellent. |
RE: Tiger 1 Initial 111 s.Pz.Abt. 502
Incredible amount of detail, outstanding work.
