For the most part, the kit comes with the brass bushings. I'm looking through the manual right now... lesse...

Step #3 - 8x 1150 ball bearings (supplied - MV2) in '1st Gear' assy; Step #4 - 7x 1150 ball bearings (supplied - MV2) in 2nd Gear-1 assy; Step #5 - 1x 1150 ball bearings (supplied - MV2) in 2nd Gear-2 assy; Step #6 - 2x 1150 ball bearings (supplied - MV2) in Spur Gear assy; Step #11 - 4x 1150 ball bearings (supplied - MV2) in Drive Shaft assy;

Total : 22 supplied 11x5mm ball bearings as part # MV2

Step #12 - 32x 850 ball bearings (supplied - MR1) in Road Wheel assy; Step #14 - 42x 1280 bushings (supplied - MR2) in Torsion Bar Bearings; Step #55 - 2x 1280 bushings (supplied - MR2) in Gun Barrel Mounts;

Total : 44 supplied 1280 Bushings as part # MR2, 32 supplied 850 bushings as part # MR1

So, in conclusion, to 'upgrade' all the metal bushings to ball bearings, you'd need a package with 76 ball bearings, 44x 1280's and 32x 850's.

I checked prices on eBay, Manheader has a set at $60 (rubber-seal or metal), to as low as $36.48 (rubber-seal or metal) from a place in Macau.
