Get well soon Chief!   It was some of your informative posts that got me hooked on this forum.

Hey Don... just got home from a week of R&R myself and hated to read your post. I hope things are improving and that you are feeling better soon. Listen to the Docs, take it slow, and get well soon. Will keep you in my prayers.

Hi Don,
I'm sorry that I couldn't chime in sooner but I have been very busy since returning from Danville on Monday. Slow and steady wins the race in the long run, pal. Relax and enjoy some reading books and low stress activites. Cut down on the bar hopping and disco dancing until 3 AM. Stay away from those RAVES and stop the hard drugs okay! I know your pushers, bookies and bail bondsman won't be happy... but we all will. We'd love to have you around for a long time to come. Perhaps I can stop in to check up on you during my trip to the Outer Banks this summer.

My family and I will keep you in our prayers. Bob

PS Besides, you still owe me a trip to Danville.....LOL.

Like I always say "The Folks on here are top shelf!"

Don
Naw, not the top shelf! It gets WAY too dusty up there... (been there, done that, had to clean it up!)

WhiteWolf

PS: and to further Commander's comments: NO Mosh Pit!

You're going to have a lot of fun with it! I haven't built the full kit (just the Sturmtiger) but it did give me ideas on my next one!

I hope I have what it takes to do it justice.

Still saving my pennies for all the goodies to add to it.

Is that Turgy thing a good upgrade? From what I read it gives the inertia effect. Anyone have one of those installed?

To be honest, I didn't like it. But that's just me, I like to have direct control of my tank.

About the only goodies you need are to slow it down some and an aluminum barrel with a new muzzle brake.

Ahh,

Thanks Jeff, that will save me a ton of $!

I'm thinking of TIGER 411 of Das Reich. . . but Like always I'll change my mind about 100 times!!

The Tamiya tanks can be driven much differently than HL tanks. The throttle is variable so slowing down can be done with the radio, unlike a stock HL tank radio. Plus, you can set limitations on the throttle travel so top speed is not achieved. (hope that makes sense)

Yeah, the fun is in selecting what Tiger I to build!!
