I like it very much! Now lets' take it to the next level of WOW!!

1. Paint your spare tracks
2. Remove the Balkencruz on the turret sides
3. Paint your tools
4. Do some rust and steel dry brush on your tow cables.

That will really make your little beast pop!!

That's what Imeant to ask...is it could use a little rust/paint wear around the coupla, edges of the hull& turret,etc....you've done a phenominal job don't get me wrong, but it just looks a little too "clean" if that makes any sense.. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...wink_smile.gif

Looks great, do not add any rust. Dirt from the yard yes, but no rust on a tank that's life was measured in weeks let alone months.

To many guys want to model something that was sitting in a French field for 10 years.

This looks great just as is and I like a more clean looking tank and I think rust/chipping has been way overdone. A little dusting or mud or with some streaking from the rain is all that's needed ... maybe.

Unless it's a diorama of a tank that's been left in a field for 10 years. ;)

Agreed, these things cost big $ for Germany at the time and we are talking about the anal Prussian military mind, they took care of the Panzers best they could, lots of photos and films of repainting in the field.

I was amazed to learn how many PIV's could be built compared to the cost of a single Tiger I. In numbers they (the PIV) were better tanks.

Tanks a lot to all, I´m going to paint the pair of spair tracks on the turret and get the acessories end get them painted to, maybe a little bitof rust, end I was thinking about new Decals from SS Panzer division maybe the turret number 007 Michael Wittmann tank the famous one on the last battle on Villers-Bocage.

RE: TIGER I LATE VERSION

ya i think it needs a little bit of a mud look and dusting looks kind of glossy to plus i don't think it needs two of those crosses on the side and that huge
