Turnigy Chip/SLU
Ok so I am sitting here contemplating life, and I thought hmm, I wonder if the Turnigy Chip used on the Tamiya's to create inertia effect, could be used with the SLU? I have neither of these or I would give it a shot. But was wondering since this goes between the throttle of the DMD and receiver , wouldn't the same principal apply? From what I have read it works by slowing the commands received by the transmitter or in other words a signal delay. So in theory this should work I think. But then again I am not an electrical major, and I have been wrong on occasion :D

RE: Turnigy Chip/SLU
It very much would work, as it is only modifying the output of the receiver as per your own adjustments, and the SLU won't know the difference. I'm considering one too :P
...I guess it works for slowing down too right? |
RE: Turnigy Chip/SLU
Thank you for the reply. I knew that the SLU'S did not have momentum, and Elmod's does, and there is quite a bit of a price difference between the two, and the only drawback for me was that the SLU'S did not have inertia, it still is not enough of a drawback to prevent me from buying an SLU, which I will get in the future, but knowing this still keeps the cost relatively low:D I forgot to add, since the plugs are different between the DMD and the SLU it's just a matter of figuring out how to piece it together.
Thanks Again Wade |
