Slip Ring in HL Pershing
 

Finally made some early progress on the "smoking gun project" using my HL Pershing as a test bed ...( Replacing the Panzer IV) ...<div>The early phases of the project involved fitting an Asiatam recoil system in the Pershing( which was easier said than done ); and the installation of a 12 Wires 2 Amps Slip Ring for a 360 degrees turret rotation ....</div><div>The recoil still needs some fine tuning ; but the turret rotation is a blast .... </div><div>Here's some early results ....youtu.be/3e0tEpXPh0o</div>

You may be interested to know that I'm ready to resume my work on a smoking gun ; using the Pershing as a test bed ....The roomier turret of the pershing will allow me to use the "smoke chamber" of a broken HL smoke unit ; compare to having to build one for the smaller turret of the panzer IV ....<div>Fitting an Asiatam Recoil Unit in the pershing ; while using the stock air-soft gun barrel was anything but easy ....
</div><div>Surprisingly ; the installation of the slip ring was done smoothly ; without any bad surprises ...
</div><div>I had installed a phone swivel in my Panzer IV last year , and I followed the same pattern for the Pershing ....

'looks hard to do for me you will have to do my Pershing....lol
looks really cool though might try it one day be nice to get the smoking gun i have a recoil that i might put in my Pershing do you have pics of how you did your stock gun converted to recoil

Thanks guys . I will post a thread on the recoil unit once I'm done fine tuning the system ....
It has been a process of trials an errors , and the only thing I had in my corner was the fact that I have an old Pershing tank that I keep for parts ...
It allowed me to be a bit bolder in this mod....
