HL Tiger 1 Yard Test
 

Ifinally ran the HLTiger 1 in the yard this weekend. Ihave been seeing posts about others having issues with range and such and had no issues with that. Idid have something happen but was able to figure out what was happening.

Since I have had the Tiger I have only ran it in my man cave, slick concrete floor. Ran great. Icharged the tank battery last weekend and then Saturday Idecided to give it a run in the yard. It went about 20' and stopped responding to the transmitter. It kept running, engine noise and all but turret wouldn't turn, go forward, anything. Icouldn't even turn the enging noise off by hitting the key button. I put the battery on charge for a few hours and then Sunday did the test again. Ran great all over the place. Definately will get the metal track and gear upgrade. The tank could not crawl over tree roots, plactic track would slip on root. Can go over if you get a running start.

Had lots of fun with it. Now I will try and shoot BB's out of it.
