Thank you Jeff, but all the build credit goes to Daryl Turner.
email Daryl for details about the new Tamiya Leopard 1 A4 f/o conversion parts at: [email protected] |
RE: Tamiya Leopard 1 A4 Full Option Conversion
I do admire those shots of Daryls parts for the A4. Especially the suspension arms and all that clear lexan too.
That will be one of my latter builds as I already have the kit that I hastily bought from the museum and have the IMPACT tracks for it too. I say hastily because I realized after I got it how I really wanted to build the thing so it was a bit early getting it to just sit around and get all dusty. It takes $$$ to get this right! :) It's almost last in line of some builds I already have the parts and kits for, just need to get motivated some. :D ~ Jeff |

Yes your right, the build is not a must have for everyone (or anyone) and is pricey.
It involved 19 months of part time effort by Daryl Turner and myself (motivation was missing a lot of the time on my end) and my cost was about 85% over the out of the box, all the bells and whistles, Tamiya WWII tank full option build. My Leo Impact tracks will be ordered after I pay for the wife's month of June birthday! http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/js/f...sn/biggrin.gif John |
