El-Mod void

ALCON,

With the loss of Phil @ RCTANKWARS ... My condolences go out to his family, and friends.

I am still stunned ... Jeez!

Phil had a Tamiya adapter (I think it was custom), and was the only US seller of El-Mod products.

Who is going to fill the El-Mod void?

Istill need to get the El-Mod system for my M1A1 Hobby Engine conversion, any thoughts suggestions?

Items needed: El-Mod Pro, Soundblaster Pro, and the PC cobfigurator.

War and Peace,
GoDOWaR

RE: El-Mod void

I have dealt with Thomas directly at El Mod. He is a good guy, communicates well in English, and can probably fill your needs. You just don't have Big Phils personalized service anymore. I haven't dealt with El MOD in ages but I believe it is a lot simplier then it used to be to hook up the hardware, so I believe most guys will be able to handle it.

I have had a few questions in the past weeks about El mod. My El Mod skills are pretty dusty. I can't make any promises about results as it has been a long time since I have done any programming, but I will sure try and help anybody that has questions.

Same goes here too, I have done work with and for Phil over the years and we have consulted with one another on many projects.

I'll do my best to help if I can.

Kind Regards,

Hello,

we deeply mourn Phil honestly, even we hadn't the chance to meet him in person.

We got the notice today (thanks to Jim).

I'm "jk" (Jürgen K. Huber), the partner of Thomas - and today, I don't want to rush in business - Phils unexpected death hits us here also...

We'll support our american friends in the future of course. Due to the language barrier, please excuse possible misleading expression in postings.

You can contact us everytime.

With best regards

jk

Hello,

a short notice for all our friends and customers:

At the moment we have a solution in sight, but it takes a little bit time to establish all. But I can promise, that the new importeur acts as Phil would do.
I hope we get all together in a few weeks, so you can build your projects as desired.
Meanwhile don't hesitate to contact us ([email protected]) if any questions, desires etc. occur...

@Wade:Nice! Where do your ancestors come from?

@gogowar: If you need your items quickly, we can handle a collective order meanwhile. So if anybody else needs some items quickly, talk to me. The estimated shipping time is about 1 week via DHL.

Cheers

jk
