Anyone tried this remote control?
 

I'm looking for a remote control system for my henglong tanks and i've seen this one at a really good price from RC tank australia...if it's worth it, I might order the other parts they sell like the MAKO combat system and their ATRC for the motors and everything...

I have this radio on a 1/6 RC jeep I built, it’s an entry level radio it’s functions are not smooth like a Futaba, the trims are analogue and would work well with a Tamiya, the main problem is you have to set the radio up on a computer latter if you need to alter the end points it need to be connected again to a computer, these Tx and Rx are about 19€ from Hobby King have a look at their website

Spend a bit more and get the 9x turnigy from rctanksaustralia, iirc it's 130 with the rc2hl adapter. Gives you a lot more options.

I guess i'll wait for now..everything is out of stock..but yeah..the turnigy seems a lot better!

I stock all the RCTanks stuff here in North America and it just so happens I recieved all my turnigy radios while I was away this week, my pricing is the same as RCtanks but is converted to US to make it easier for everybody here in NA

Oh and by the way there isn't a 2 to 3 week wait period like their is from Australia

Right now it is important to shop around. If you are new to this hobby, be advised there are now a lot of options to look at. Clark Electronics is now producing a low cost full blown system as well. There never has been a better time to be in this hobby, as the upgrade options are plentiful.

I agree with YHR on this is the best time to start being a tanker,
I encourage everyone to shop around and really get to know not only what you are buying but what you want it for, The future holds many changes that some boards won't be able to keep up to.
Then there is a service question after the purchase.
