Disc Camo Stenciles in 1/16?
Before I try making making my own my own in 1/16 scale, I thought I'd take the easy way out and see if anyone had a source for these as "store boughts".
They are listed from some outfits in 1/48 and 1/35, but I have not seen any in 1/16. |

I haven't done any measuring yet but was going to look into using a hole punch.
I would at least start there. Jeff |

I bet there are easily found circles (like the looseleaf hole reinforcing stickies) that are the right size, if you planned it carefully, you could nail the look.

Glen, you could buy the 1/35 set and then spray black on a sheet of paper or card stock and then blow the image up to 1/16 on a copier? I did the same thing with some 1/35 decals to make stencils of them in 1/16. Airbrushed turret numbers are a beautiful thing!!! :D

Looking at the picture, it looks to me like they shot the dark color, then laid out paint can lids, then shot a light color, then pulled the lids and shot a bit more of the light color in blobs. I bet you could do that. To scale. More or less. It would sure look cool.</p> |
