Like the weathering, looks great!!!

Oh DAMN! Now THAT'S the way an RC tank should move, sound and operate! Tankers... take note and learn! :) It has nice and slow deliberate movements, not the herky-jerky actions a lot of RC tank videos display.

This has to be my most favorite video of the year so far! It even LOOKS like a real tank. I, myself still like the "Gate Guard" look or close to a clean museum piece but that's just me.

Nicely done and I even checked out your JS-2 video. Very nice! :)

I haven't seen a lot of the Tamiya KV-2s around, that's a real beauty you have there.

agreed...looks fantastic!

What a Beautiful Machine, Awesome Work

It moves really well. The tank looks great, this and the Pershing are two of Tamiya's best sound packages.

When you go to an IR battle that is the one thing that really stands out. The quick and deliberate movements of an IR tank battle really detract from the spectacle, If all tanks were operated like this it would really enhance the look of the events.

Wowsi, great model , thanks for sharing. Now , looking at the video, tamiya sure has smooth movements. My HL kv over say my Tamiya KT, no way they can compare.

You can make it happen, but you will need to add some things. This is also on smooth lino, which makes a big difference as there is little resistance to overcome when you start from a standstill. Electric motors draw most current when they break free from being static. Once the armature is turning it takes less amperage to keep them in motion.

All things that lower the overall friction will aid in smooth starting the tank. So wheel bearings, and lubrication all help this, where as extra weight, metal track, or anything else that contributes to the rolling resistance of the tank adds to the problem.

Gearing is also very important, Low gearing alone will help, but the gears themselves will need to be well lubed and smooth when free wheeling
