I think that will require a robust gearbox like willys customs.

At todays current rate of exchange it will only cost you $957 US dollars. Still very nice. Looks like it is ready for Tamiya gear boxes?

I think that keyword is ONLY... I would be sleeping on the couch if I brought that thing home. Very impressive though.

Couch??????....I'd be in a hotel...or a hole in the ground.....

That thing looks like it's sturdy enough to be converted into a battle ready skate board ........ or two of them for a pair of battle ready roller skates ------- just a thought !!!!

I don't believe Willy is making them anymore. The originals where based on Impact boxes and I know he doesn't use them anymore.
Mine are 88:1's he built for me and are still going strong in my Tamiya Panther G

It looks great, but I really don't see the point of it, especially since it's using the Tamiya torsion bars and arms. Unless you're keeping it natural, all that beautiful metal will be hidden by paint and plastic is easier to alter and add to.

I do get metal upgrades that offer an advantage: bearings, beefier arms, etc, but metal for the sake of it escapes me (again unless it's kept that way, I'd love an Aeromate Tiger, but no way would I paint it).

Gregg, Willy has moved on to other gearbox upgrades. He's using the Modellspeigel gearboxes as a base and doing different ratio's and motor size.

Thats good to know Bret. Never know when you might need a real set of TU's built.
