Well, it's a rainy and dreary day today. My wife is vacuuming the house SO I'm obviously doing some IMPORTANT loafing in the garage.

Back in 2000/01, when they first came out, I ordered a 1/6 Stuart tank. It's NOT the r/c version so it's been setting on a shelf in the closet. I hadn't even thought much about it until my sweetie mentioned a few days ago that we needed shelf space and could I move that 'big tank you've had forever' out to the garage. THEN my little brain remembered it!

So THIS MORNING, being the 'conscious husband' that I is, I went to the closet, got it off the shelf and toted it to the garage as a backdrop for the accordion player pics I was going to post for the Commander.

After I took those two pics I noticed the Stuart looked sitting there beside the Tiger! And WOW! Did ya ever read 'The Haunted Tank'? Everybody else in the 5th/6th grade school in the mid-60s read 'Superman', 'Batman', some Green Dude, junk like that. But I only read 'G.I. Combat', 'Sgt. Rock', serious reading like that! THAT was when I started loving TANKS!

And now, with these two tanks side by side, my tiny brane registered that some pics for size comparisons would be interesting to do.

I thought about trying to get one of the Stuart commanders' fingers to point up from the other fingers but couldn't figure out how to do that...

Both tanks are 1/6 scale.

Something to do on a lousy, rainy day... (later when my Sweetie is done vacuuming I'll do some important things: make some pizza, drank a 'couple' beeers, and watch a movie!)

I was done taking pictures for fun, put'em on here, then I went out to the garage and started figuring where I was going to put the Stuart. Make room on top of the fridge? Figure where to put a shelf?...

I'm still pondering it...

BUT decided to take just two more pics! Taking all these pics, and I KNOW the backgrounds are LOUSY (workbench, fridge, reloading bench, garage door, safe, sink, or WATER HEATER), but it's been raining outside, but just wanted to do it!

So here's two final pics! Like some story line you'd see in 'Haunted Tank'! Kinda like 'STICK'EM UP!!'

I know you've seen about all ya want at every single angle of this tank but I have one more 'little' accessory I'm gonna make and add. I'll make a quick post later on when I get it done, because I haven't seen pics of this accessory added to a Tiger pic posted on here before (course I'm probably wrong about that!)

Thanks for looking at this Tiger cause I've spent (like you have on yours) many, MANY, MANY hours trying to get the tank looking 'right'. It's been like working on a greasy, rusty, heavy riding mower and LOVING IT! About like working on an old Harley!

NOW I can get back to paying more attention to my Tamiya tanks! (I've STILL been running'em ya know! Can't stop my FIRST LOVE!)

Mike
