Nothing more I can say, even I don't know dates. Things change and projects get introduced. There is always something in the way of what I want to do. The Sherman is looking to be released on the 3rd week of November :) Almost here!

Well I will try not to tease too much but a certain tank listed here will be produced by us :) Soon.

Erik, these things have a habit of taking longer than expected to reach the market there is always something small that requires modification that takes months, in the meantime people have not only grown board but also lose interest rather much like Hooben, hitherto its always better to release new models unexpectedly this way you maximise the frenzied excitement.

Okay, I'm NOT Starting Anything Here but I'm Betting the Next Taigen Tank will either be a Sherman Firefly, M18 Hellcat or M10.

Or Not......,

YHR 10-17-2014 01:16 PM

It will probably be an M10 or M-36. These companies tend to follow each others lead. As Mato has announced these, and if history repeats itself someone else will will produce the exact same thing.

Consumers will be left questioning the reason and sense in this duplication process that tends to go on when there is a such a large.varity of tanks not yet done!

tiger rampage 10-17-2014 01:36 PM

I e-mailed a major seller of Heng Long tanks and asked if there were any new releases for the holidays. He replied that the M1A2 Abrams would be released next and he would have them early December and the challenger 2 will be next year.

I agree with you --- I would think ( and hope ) that the 3D printers might change things in the future, Think positive thoughts !!!!!!

That is very good news! I wonder if Mato Mart will have them in stock by that time as well?

Augustus1967 10-17-2014 03:56 PM

I'm a-gonna say M1A1-A2 and M60A1-A3...

Not sure about Matomart but this is a California based seller. He said the Abrams was being released the end of November and he will have them in stock in early December so one could assume that Matomart could have them in stock by then too.

As I'm now fortunate to have all three in kit form would anyone be interested in a side_by_side comparison of Imai's, Hooben's and Asiatam's
Elefant kits? I won't steal this thread obviously but I'd create a new one.

How about a Dragon Wagon with IR ' repair ' facilities? recover a tank and after a while have it restored to full capabilities and set it back down in friendly territory?
Of course the combat system of the recovered tank would have to be accepting of 'repairs'.

I know silly a&*^d idea....

A simple R/C Dragon Wagon without all of the bells and whistles would hit my PayPal button. An electric recovery winch would be the frosting on the cake, or maybe electric rear loading ramps??? I dream about doing one, but that ain't gonna happen ....

I surely am !!!

I do have myself two IMAI but I did not see the point of comparing one with the other...:p
Your comparison will be much more interesting. ;)

Go for it ..... I would really love to see how close I got to the "professional models" with my scratch built effort.(which still needs paint).

Not sure if I missed and subtleties but Clark boards do all that. Getting one to drive a Dragon Wagon would take a bit more work but it'd doable :)
