MAKO and ATRC board issues
 

So I got bored and dug out a few old projects and misc electronic hardware I had purchased over the years. I have hooked up the MAKO and ATRC (1a) to a rX18 cpu. I still have the track recoil and super spin which supposedly be eliminated. The tank still acts like a crazy frog when firing the main gun or turning. the apple leds come on for 3 seconds like they are supposed to. If anyone has some intelligence or experience with this conversion, please check my wiring shown in the pics to see if anything looks wrong. i cannot find any info in the instructions that relates to "programming" the hop or spin, just the hits allowed.Near as I can tell I am wired as shown in the instructions. i do not have the Mamba board (loose yellow/red/black wire from the MAKO) but I should not need that unless I want to fine tune the speed decrease after being hit.

Can't say about the mako, but with the dragon (made by the same people) it has to be preprogrammed from the vendor for HL or Taigen receivers. Could it be possible that yours is programmed for Taigen?

i am pretty sure i purchased this stuff before taigen was around other then custom paint. any marks or component ID on the boards that differentiate them?

I just put a dragon in the JP and it does say Komodo, but I don't see anything that says it's programmed for Taigen and not HL.
