Oh wow....
One of the neatest videos I've seen in a while.
How fortunate to have this sort of heritage! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=huQh...ature=youtu.be I noticed just how hard the lead driver was working to make that corner! Jerry |
You said it.... WOW! Those are some well trained and passionate people.

No power steering?
Seriously, that's some impressive machinery. |
I especially liked the trailer what a cool design with the double turning bogies.

to think that was once state of the art transport

Would love to have that ambulance in 1/16th.

Oh boy Rex, you have more faith in me than I do. That being said, I'm starting to do some R&D on those old WW1 era trucks. If not an ambulance, then maybe an old gun truck so it could battle on the field perhaps. I just love WW1 technology and seeing how it all began. Have you scratched anything WW1?

Dave Yes, I did build a WW I Mobile Armored Protective Enclosure, Mk 1, self powered. It actually was tested to protect infantrymen from small arms fire when crossing no mans land. I think my friend Jim Beam inspired me to do this project one afternoon. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2056076http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2056077 rex |
