I pleased to say that I've formed an agreement with the manufacturer of the IBU series of tank systems to represent
his products here in north America. I'm still in the process of setting things up but when we're ready to go I'll post a
followup message.

When I see titles of threads like that, I expect it to be a swan song of the likes of 'I'm out of the hobby' or worse...

You're one of the more respected members here, IBU is lucky to have you onboard.

It will be good to have a stateside supplier. In my testing I believe the IBU 2 to be on par with El mod. I had some issue with IR distance in the sunlight using regular 940 nm LED, but Ivano suggested another frequency (870nm?) and the range got better. Manipulation of sound files is almost identical to El Mod. Ivano is a classy guy who has been at this for a long time. I wish you all the best in a very competitive market,that is even going to get more crowded:D

Good news, I bought my first IBU2 from Ian a few weeks ago and will be needing more. The savings on shipping will be appreciated. Will you be offering the same service level that he does now as far as setting up the radio, receiver, and IBU2 units prior to shipping?

At the start my plan is to offer the units for sale; as service requests arise I will consider expanding the service side. I do want to listen, hear and consider what services
people want. I'm familiar with how valuable good service is and want to offer what people need and want. While I've much to learn in terms of offering specialty service
hopefully we can grow together..
