Well, lets see where we know he has been in the past. Been to the woods, been to the lake, been to the snowy woods, been to Europe, been to Texas, been to Canada, and reportedly to the Philippines and maybe Bangcock. My guess is a cruse ship stuck on a reef in the Caribbean Islands.

I heard he had been abducted by aliens and after doing the probe they found no signs of intelligence.:)

Rich, if there is something wrong with Bob or his family I would not think about making jokes. Bob is a good friend of mine and I would never do or say anything to intentionally hurt him in any way. I know Bob has a sense of humor, but if I was out of line Bob I apologize. Dennis

I get personal jokes, it might be appropriate if it were on his thread and he was particiapting, i can take jokes really well, and tolerate alot from my troops, but they know when its an appropriate time and not to take a cheap shot at the platoon sergeant.

Here we have a thread searching for a person that is sort of MIA and then jokes start shwoing up. Just unprofessional IMHO. I dont want to be a moderator, i just call it as I see it.

Bob is really on vacation and not ignoring people. I owe him money and fubared the payament. He did reply to me and say he will take care of it after he returns.
So just be patient he will return to business soon.

I spoke met with BOB before he went out of town to OHIO, right before July 4th on the Parkway at MC'Donalds. He has my Tank. He will not be back until the 28th. I already told you. So Joke on.

Bob can take a joke with the best and worst of us, but rest assured that he will return the favor! Ohio, out West, or stuck on a reef, I hope he is having fun. Now where is my map and those stick pins?

It has to be said that most of the regulars here are personal friends, or at least 2 places removed.

Even the trolls like PComm ain't so bad once you talk with them one on one (Sorry to 'out' you John, but you are actually pretty decent guy to talk to 'behind the mask' :o )

Rivet is a self-professed internet A-Hole, but in real life he is one of the genuinely nicest and helpful guys you could ever meet (Sorry if I just broke your internet image mate ;) ).

Bob and his lovely family met me in Normandy last year, Dennis (and Steve) joined us both for the original Tiger day (before they diluted it into a twice a year deal :( )

Herman, Bret, Dana, Tex and many many others, I met at Danville in early 2011, and hope to see again.

Gary I hope to meet in Detroit, when I find enough spare cash to come over and visit all my old work and DTC friends.

We all have our differences, but we all like tanks.

You weren't there when Mr. po-po performed a sobriety test on the bubblehead by the poolside of the Comfort Inn......
