Pershing Front End Not Flush

1 Attachment(s)
Has anyone had the front end of the Pershing not sitting flush with the bottom hull. I bought this off of ebay and this is the only issue. I'm assuming the wires, but also the two plastic pieces have busted off of the lower hull. Whats the best way to keep them together?

Mine are completely gone. I only have the two screws in the driver and co-driver that hold it down. I have a larger rare earth on the rear deck since the tabs are broken off back there also.

If the wiring is orderly the hull should close. Usually its the rotation motor wire that in the way.

make sure your battery is at an angle with the high point towards the outside, not completely horizontal.

Also, make sure it is seated properly in the rear and the two rear tabs are seated properly as well.
If seated correctly you should be able to put a screw in through the side of the lower hull by the rear drive sprockets.

This is a common issue with the Pershing.

The compartment is so tight that adding the battery usually creates a problem closing the hull fully.

Some creative "sweet spot" adjustment of the battery will solve this, even so still tight.

On solution some have done is to shorten the speaker box or leave a cutout for the battery to slide into for added room closing the hull.
