Taigen torture test

Yesterday a friend stopped over with her two sons. They immediately spotted my tanks and wanted to play with them. I let them use my metal late model tiger I and t34/85 in the back yard where the grass is about 2 to 3 inches long. They were doing super spins almost nonstop as they battled using the stock ir. The T34 held up the best as it never broke down and the tiger shed it's track a few times because the idler wheels are press fit together and the right one kept separating. The tiger was easily repaired and placed back in service. Loctite should solve that problem.

The kids had fun and I was impressed with how both tanks held up to the abuse. Both boys were begging their mom for a tank. She asked where I had gotten them from and I handed her one of the Imex business cards I had. She smiled at her two sons and said Christmas is coming.

It was a good day.

That's the way, get them started young. Excellent...

I'm glad to hear they held up. This is the sweet spot of Taigen. When my kids were young, I'd cringe with every jack rabbit start after spending what I consider a lot of money and time (back then at least) on a Tamiya, yet an OOB HL wouldn't make it through a complete battery under the same circumstance.

Taigen does, very cool.
