Multiple tanks in one?

I have always loved Rc tanks but as a teenager money can be a problem along with space. So to cut down on space and cost I wanted to buy a Burgepanther from nathan at rctanksofokc.com using the taigen Panther and a panther top so I can switch between them so I am curious if a jagdpanther top would also fit. Also if a panzerkamphwagen 3 would switch out with a stug 3 top

I would like to get a Sturmtiger IR Upper chassis from Erik for my Tiger1 to convert it from BB to IR. I just haven't checked to see if it would be available.

Yap that was part of my plan when I get a tiger have one to convert but I'm pretty sure that yes it does take the same chassis as a regular tiger if you look at the metal edition it has a full metal lower hull but a plastic top since the tiger 1 is one of the few all metal chassis it would have required little to no modification to just slide another top on. I imagine that there tanks are this way it would really cut down on production costs to produce as little different chassis as then they have to.

Aw heck no I love em both but I can't get realistic battles with tanks I can more so ships. I'm going into engineering so this stuff has always fascinating both tanks and ships since I was a little kid. Hell I've even been working on two separate extreme realistic battle systems one being less dangerous but not as far figured out that uses different frequencies of light waves as different caliber cannons and types of shells and a sensor covering the whole tank with "armor" thickness painted onto the tank but it is very complex and will be very difficult to incorporate the other version being very dangerous but it is basically low powder bullets and actual armor this method is almost complete except i dot have the skills or connections as a teenager to redesign the breech and action but I do have an automatic loader if I use an opening breach but I am kinda thinking something like a browning shot gun where the barrel recoils with the action and the magazine stays stationary. Who knows If I have it my way when I'm out of college I will have a working system maybe even with a working maybach from artimus motors

Hey TK, just a word to the wise, you'll get a lot of flack when you start talking about projectiles and RC tanks. I've seen some very good ideas that got jumped on pretty hard because they wanted to use actual bullets. It doesn't matter to me and I'm not trying to come down on you, I'm just trying to help you by preparing you for the reaction you'll get to that subject. I personally think that if you're qualified and safe about it you should be able to experiment with whatever you want, but that view is a definite minority around here. But, I'd really like to hear what you have in mind if you don't mind doing it in a PM. We need to keep sensitive materials out of public view so the bad guys don't get a hold of it. Loose lips sink ships, eh? :)

Ya I never had any intention of sharing with the forum until the first one was complete and the projectile method you will never see unless I build my own field I will not sell the tanks and I will require my field to have a large bulletproof wall since I know the dangerousness of guns I know a 22 lr will travel up to 2 miles so gun traverse and bullet velocity will be limited. Ya I'll shoot you a pm later won't be to specific lot of it is hard to explain and If all goes well this system will be complete by college and I will find a way to pair it with a military simulator to give our troops the most realistic battles possible before there first real battle.

thanks for the heads up though I'm starting to learn what conversations to never bring up on this forum ex. Tamiya over other brands (I've seen the battles there quite entertaining to watch but not very informative)

Also bear in mind that the lad who posted the youtube vid of the drone mounted hand gun discussed in an earlier thread, is currently facing State and Federal investigation. Best to keep what happens on private land private, and out of sight from the general public ;)

You catch on quick and you seem to be very safety conscious so that's great. I'll be very interested to see what you come up with. One of these days I really want to do a 1/6 Tiger with the .75 caliber paintball system, and that's something I'll probably keep to myself when the time comes, since it's just like the "tammy vs. the world" battle we sometimes see here. Better to just enjoy it and only share it with like minded guys in a more private manner. Saves a lot of arguing. :)

I love the idea of paintball wish you could post about it see if we can get a sub forum for large tanks and/or non infrared battle systems that way you have a forum and they don't got to go bothering us
