Can you put a Taigen gearbox in a Heng Long tank?

Most likely.

Definitely. There are some specific tanks where one or two of the different ratios wont fit, because of space limitations, like the HL T-34 rear end with final gear room, but generally yes.

Hi, If you go to
www.welshdragonmodels.com
click on the menu "GEARBOXES (for heng long)" then" NEW GENERATION TAIGEN GEARBOXES", every box is shown with a list of which Tanks each named box will fit and that INCLUDES HENG LONG TANKs /TAIGEN TANKS and TORRO TANKS.
I will offer a warning on interchangeable gearboxes, Waltersons brass boxes when sold for the TIGER 1 will ONLY fit HENG LONG Tigers.
TAIGEN gearboxes that fit a particular TAIGEN Tank will fit HENG LONG Tanks of the same type.
