I've been into this hobby for around a month, today I found these AYFKM. 1/6 for around $7500.00. Holy F. Sorry I kinda like Tiger 1 tanks but, damn.

These tanks are the best scale vehicles available in any scale as far as I'm concerned....quality has it's price...

That's $2500 more than I just paid for my 2008 Honda VFR800 motorcycle which is why I'm not in the market for one. Can't justify the cost when I have to put a kiddo through college next year.

for me it's the ramps and truck needed to transport.

I'm with you Derek, I have two heading off in the next few years and I've been preaching MIT to them since they were 3 tears old. They're keeping their end of the bargain, now I have to figure out how to pay for.

Whenever I think about a hobby purchase, I always compare to other stuff and Tamiya always goes heads up against a new iPad or Macbook, but $7500 is off those charts. I think I'd get more enjoyment out of a month long cruise with my wife...

Yeah, $7500 is for about what a new Armortek tank goes for. But if you are interested in them sometimes you can get lucky and run on to a used one for a lot less. They don't turn up often but keep checking the sites and you may run on to one at a good price.
