That is a pretty sick Gundam :)
I got a pretty sweet limited edition one though, you gotta admit this one is pretty sweet.... Never been opened and it was the last one we had. It was a misprint from a long time ago but people LOVED them as you can probably guess. I gave them as stocking stuffers to all my good buddies this past year.

Well for those of you wanting to make the move to a double action internal mix airbrush i would say its worth it,the qaulity of my work has improved and im still learning the ropes,i will tell you to pay close attention to the quality of your paint,as i had some nato green(tamy) that was kinda old, well when i got to the bottom of the jar i noticed small clumps,i thought my airbrush had been acting wierd and it seemed like i couldnt get a good clean line anymore,so i starting backflushing with cleaner and different pressures and low and behold a litte clump of paint backflushed into my pot, after that it began working properly again,i much prefer an articulate camo pattern over the broad grainy stroke that my old single action external mix provided and clean up is much easier after an process is developed,i think it was billipe and airbrushlers work that really motivated this move and thank you guys for posting your work:cool:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2161909Well this is what a noob can do with a decent airbrush not as nice as some of the other guys on here but im still learning,im tempted to stop and have the nato brown delete option, then start the weathering process,i dont know ....

philipat 05-10-2016 08:03 AM

Looks good! I'd say you're on a roll and should add the NATO brown.

I'll check around, a hobby store found out about them and I'm pretty sure he bought the last bit up. I have just one left sitting on my shelf, I'll go upstairs and look later.

Dude.... that's epic. Just epic. Always thought of the baddies I the original Gundam as kind of a Nazi army.

MAUS45 05-11-2016 08:31 AM

Yes, I used Wittman's "007" on the shield. I used a Iwata HP-CH dual action airbrush to paint it. Real nice dual action nad on sale at amazon for $162, free shipping right now. Hail Zeon, makes ya think NAZI, right?

Darkearth74 05-11-2016 09:41 AM

Is that a siphon feed or gravity feed, what type of compreesor do you like?

MAUS45 05-11-2016 10:32 AM

It is a gravity feed and I use an Iwata Smart Jet compressor. Got it on sale at Hobby Lobby.

My original gundam heavyarms on my JP. Never painted it http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/atta...mentid=2165679

Darkearth74 06-03-2016 09:08 PM

Jp looks good with the dustdown ,heavyarms would look great with some weathering

mizuinu 06-03-2016 09:27 PM

On the JP, I let nature do the weathering. Ran it on dusty ground & then let it run while it is raining. Thinking of running it on ash next time. Heavyarms was built a more than decade ago, bought it with me when I came to the US
