This just may be the most important point that Dan (or anyone else) has ever made on this forum. :cool:

Here's just one small example - It's absolutely true that Clark has lost customers because of the stock stick config and more than one guy has given up on the TK22 for that reason. Many others learned (possibly from Dan himself) how to set up the Clark to run with the Heng Long stick config, throttle and steering on the same stick. When I got my first Clark I decided to cut to the chase and set it up for HL stick config. I hated it. Absolutely hated it. Then one day, just for kicks, I switched it back to the way clark recommends (throttle on left stick and steering on right stick) and I loved it. Bought two more TK22s for tanks with tight space.

So it really is true - One Man's Grime is another Man's gravy.

And I did have Kevin send the first Asp as a complete system (I really should say that Kevin was kind and gracious enough to do that for me, I don't "have" him do a damn thing :o) with the TX included, pre-programmed and modified, and I highly recommend that route for anyone that doesn't have TX programming experience. It's more expensive, but the reduction in the ol' stress level is priceless. As I learn more about this stuff I can ask my gurus to do less for me, but it's a rather complicated aspect of the hobby, all these electronics with the magic smoke inside, and recognizing your own limitations is a key factor.
