IBU3 expansion boards

Ivano gave me a sneak peek into the first expansion board in the works for the IBU3:
get ready for it... a gyro stabilizer for turret and maingun control of modern tanks!

Also a Bluetooth interface might also be in the works to remove the need to connect your model to a
device with a cable in order to configure it.

Not sure when exactly the gyro board will be available but it will be a nifty and useful unit.

Which begs the question: what other sorts of other functionality/capability could you guys see
as useful/ beneficial to the battle units?

I would really like to see the ability to save separate tank profiles on the board so it could be quickly swapped to a different tank without the need to individually change all the sound effects and settings each time. I would also like to see different volume settings for each sound effect so things like guns sound noticeably louder the engine for example. El Mod Pro has both of these options and I don't think they would be very difficult to implement.

They also need to make them Mac compatible.

Does the IBU3 have battle options that are user configurable? IF it does it would be nice to be able to upload a battle scenerio for Club play. Trying to get anything started that is different then the Tamiya basic is like herding cats. If there was a way a club could just upload the tank specs into tanks it would help.

Cheers

This would be my first choice for anyone;'s board.

As it is now, I have to edit and configure the file, then email it to my son's gaming PC and pry him away long enough for me to download it onto a board, whether it's destroyer sounds on a 123 or tank stuff on a TBS.

It quickly becomes too much of a hassle, making Tammy even more attractive.
