Monogram Shephard Paine Diorama Tip Sheets

2 Attachment(s)
Hey all!

Does anyone have any old 1/35- 1/32 Monogram Armor Series kits for sale?... I am looking for the old Panzerjager IV (actually its

Jagdpanzer .. (ok.. they are actually 1/32 scale although the smaller kits say 1/35 scale.. yeah they are old kits)

IV Lang) I am interested in getting the Mid-Production run of the Kit.. (The 70's Kit) ... they include the Shepard Paine Diorama Tip

Sheets. The Box is also needed as they have 2 more color photos of the Shep Paine dioramas. The older Monogram Armor

Series kits (50s and 60s) have a painting of the specific vehicle on the cover but do not include the Tip Sheets.. I am not interested

in these.

I am also looking for the Spahwagon with the Tip Sheet... and will consider any of the smaller kits. ( the two and a half ton truck, the

Weasel Amphibious Vehicle, the Armed Halftrack AA, the Half Track, and the Jeep.... once again, the Box and Tip Sheets must be

included.. Although, I'll take the entire kit. I do not really care if the kits are complete or even there.. I am just interested in the

Boxes and Diorama Tip Sheets. And to be precise... I only want the Box and the Tip Sheets both.. for the smaller Kits listed above,,

For the Panzerjager IV and the Spahwagon,, I only want the Diorama Tip Sheets.

Thanks in advance,

Joe

Have you checked at the FSM website? Shep Paine is pretty much a god in the static community, and I imagine those boys could answer all your questions for you, and at least provide copies of the tips sheets. Hope that helps.

Dammit Joe, stop buying and start building! Excited to see some of the kits you've come across.

Thanks Cirius.. FSM Web site you say? I will check it out..

Benny B.. u r correct...I'll admit it, I am a bit embarrassed, I really do have way too much ..

I have started many.. just got to get down to buildin' em...I really am nearing the end of my

purchases though.. I just figured .. I should get the stuff while I can...I come from a time that if you didn't get it

when you saw it... it was most likely gone forever..

Thanks again, and I'll keep you posted,

Joe

P.S. Just in-case you are wondering what's next..

I am still compiling 3D printed detail parts for some kits:

1/16 Fender kits for a Panzer IV Hulls
1/16 Schurtzen hangers for the Brumbar and the Stug IV
1/16 Ludwig Hetzer.. exterior details
1/16 Ludwig Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf D / 22 ... I need the Pak 75 mount and some rear fighting compartment details
1/16 Warren M7 Priest .. just need the 50 cal ring mount
1/16 Warren M3 1 Recovery Tank.. this is a conversion for the Hungarian M3 Lee conversion kit with the undersized turret...
those of you who have the Lee know what I am talking about.. right?.. unusable! .... Well, this is a solution...

As for kits... I am excited to get the:
1/16 Warren Panzer II .. when available... ( I expect sometime later this Year)
1/16 Ludwig Matilda .. when it becomes available ... ( I am told very soon)
and finally the
Ludwig 1/16 M48 Patton... also when it becomes available... (I am told maybe March?)

That is when I am finished.. unless someone comes out with a Caffee or a Hellcat : )

One more thing.. There are a couple of guys who are doing fantastic 1/16 3D printed parts for
the 1/16 kits... they are a fraction of the cost of the Aber stuff and very detailed.. for example
the M7 Priest conversion kit is 100% 3D printed and found at Shape Ways.. I have gotten Great!... and I mean GREAT!!!
Fender replacement kits for a Panther / Jagdspanther and the Panzer III / Stug III.. these sets are extremely detailed and
like I mentioned the Panzer IV is next.. these are fantastic upgrades to the existing kits...

If interested one day I'll give you guys a detailed list of the all the parts and who did them for me...

Hey, Joe, sorry, but I thought you'd already be registered at FSM. That's FineScale Modeler (I also would have pegged you for a fellow subscriber to the magazine) and they have some of the finest static modelers in the world contributing to their forums. You can find just about any kit there is there, then you have to get the owner to part with it for a reasonable price. That's the hard part. I was thinking a request for tip sheets might attract a few guys that actually have the kit(s) and one might be willing to pass it on to someone that will actually build it.
