Speedy Panther
Hello Gentlemen,
I just got and have been messing with a brand new Tiagen all metal Panther g. It's had a TK 22 replace the stock board and added recoil. Among other things I am less than happy with are the speed and handling. It's very fast and supposed to have the 4:1 gearboxes. The rest of my gripes I have a handle on fixing, but the speed is something I'm asking advice for. Do I replace the Gearboxes, the board, or do I have something set wrong (like the trims) and need sim2e adjusting? Just wondering what others think. I am leaning toward gearbox replacement, but dunno. Also I was told a known issue with these boards is the lurch back of the tank when firing is a lurch forward? Is that true? Thanks for any advice, Armornut |
You can turn down or even off the recoil when firing. The motors are fast so you may want the 380 or someone elses brand of 480.

Didn't some electronics wizard on here have the answer to eliminating that feature (track recoil) for the Tamiya board?
While I have down time on my builds I'd like to change that. |
