AA Armor

I love the look and especially the historical value, but how long do you think this will last at Danville?

I obviously have some finishing work to do. I'll get it done before I leave for the Battlefield this weekend.

Depends on how it is attached.
If just glue, then not long.
If that is brass rod poking through the armor, then it has a chance.
The other way to go is to have it be 'break away,' and held on with magnets.
On my Panther, I have the tracks and extra road wheel on the turret and crates on the rear deck that are all held on with magnets.
They have never even been knocked off.

But maybe that has to do with the skill of the driver?

I think the driver is OK . I don't trust the exhauts fan covers. The intakes and top armor are pretty solid. The "F" also has 3 angled brackets on the turret roof edge to support the armor.

It other drivers I concerned about. This being a TFA event leads to up close fights to get inside that 10ft zone. I have been lanced and have lanced a tank or two trying to get around someone.

Now those tress you put in.... I'll hook them, drag them and probably get stuck in them.

Think you'll be ok except the back corners on the engine deck, especially with all the new trees. Looks awesome!

Those look really great! Are they from a kit or scratch built?

I scratched the rear most ones and bought the other as a kit from Ludwigs. I'm not proficient enough to cut perfect circles.

Oh well, they really look great and I couldn't tell. There are so many new small vendors making their own parts these days even I am surprised at what is available. I know Ludwigs has some things that are not necessarily part of a kit but some great add-ons for 1/16 tanks.

Well... hope they last this weekend.

Thanks, I hope they stay on aswell. If not then I'll have some fix-en to do.
