I've seen them both actually. The 1/6th was all rusted when I seen it last year. The 1/8th looks much better but faster than some go-karts lol. Better question is do you really want to pay HL $5-8k for a tank? I have yet to see a replacement part too. The guy told me last year he was only like the 2nd or 3rd to purchase one, I wouldn't think they would be big sellers from HL.

I saw this on YouTube a few days ago.. But have to admit, even if I had the money I used to have, I just cannot justify blowing that kind of money on a tank like that..

It's cool. But not 5k-8k cool in my opinion.. And like has been stated, parts availability?

Thank You for reply and opinions

Not sure if they are attempting to sell fine wine or cigars with this advert.

Here was the tank, I was originally going to buy.. But I checked it out on a few websites and it got lousy reviews.. Not to mention the parts availability was an issue for it if anything went wrong.. I said forget it, not worth the risk..

It looked nice and all.. But that's about it..

Keep in mind, I know nothing really of tanks.. I was just browsing around on Amazon looking for a new hobby.. I came across that 1/10 scale tank, and thought it would be cool to get into tanks as a hobby.. I was originally looking at 1/10 - 1/16 race cars.. But that tank popped up and I thought, cool.. I'll look at it..

I did further research on several sites and that particular tank doesn't have good reviews at all.. And for $450 dollars, I wasn't going to take a risk..

Again, I have no clue on the different models of tanks out there..

So, what is your thoughts Maccrage? I'm curious on your opinion on it.. From your response, you don't sound impressed with it..

Well, they say it's a M1A2. It has an M1A2 turret, but that's about it. The hull, I don't know. Kinda M1 shaped, but the details are all wrong.

This is what it should look like.

Ahh,

Well I understand why you weren't impressed with it then.. That's why I figured I would ask you about it.. Cause you know more than I do on the different models out there..

I would have never even known the difference if I had purchased it.. I'm glad I changed my mind at the last minute and didn't buy it.. For almost a month I kept looking at different race cars and tanks.. Couldn't really decide what I wanted.. Finally pulled the trigger on the Tiger 1.. It looked like the best deal out of everything I looked at honestly.. And I've done the whole race car bit over the years.. But a tank was new territory for me and I thought it would be cool to give it a shot.. Something different I guess from my normal RC stuff..
