etoarmor.com

Seems to be a bit of an altercation going on with my site name. I own etoarmor.com and etoarmour.com, but for some reason the etoarmour addy is not working at this time. My web guru is working on the problem, but for the time being use this addy for the site:

etoarmor.com

Hi Robert.

FYI, clicking on the link you give redirects me to etoarmour.com which appears to have been hijacked for insurance etc.

sevoblast 10-26-2018 07:30 PM

Something strange is going on here. The addy below works this morning, takes you right in to the store if you copy and paste.

My hacker will be on it this morning. Thanks for the heads up!

OK, the first link works fine. It's the second one after owner that is hijacked.

sevoblast 10-27-2018 08:36 AM

Yup. My hacker...oops, I mean site guru... will work on that some more later tonight or Monday. Hopefully by Monday evening all will be good. I'll change the one after my signature now.

Looks like the old address will be working by this weekend, the hack on the name was pretty strong. No one managed to get in to the site management, I've got a really strong firewall protecting that system, so there's no worries in that department.
For the time being while my web guru is working on the name, this link works fine:

For some reason, the link I'm trying to post comes up different, must be something with RCU site. Here's what is should be: http:// and then etoarmor.com

Make sure you turn on SSL too, I have our site set to force encryption and it only works in HTTPS. This is for both browsing and orders.

Looks like things are improving, my site guru has located the source of the problem. With any luck, all will be good in 24 hours or less.

Erik, I don't take any payment info on my site, never have. It's secure, although at the moment it says 'not secure' at the top next to the site addy. My hacker will fix that, too. Someone in west EU is going to have a sorry day or 100 starting Saturday.

Yea definitely want that thing secure. It won't stop it completely but it sure does help even with search results and stuff. Only cost a few extra bucks to most plans, hopefully you didn't lose any info and are planning some sweet revenge soon!

Interesting. This site, RCU, shows as 'not secure'. And so does your site, just looked at the link. What the heck? Is this some kind of back door method to get 'fees' from site holders? My site is protected by the strongest possible system, but no site is 100% secure. I'll speak with my guru shortly about this.

The hack came from France, which is interesting in that I vaguely remember only one customer from there and that was years ago.

Imex-Erik 11-02-2018 05:15 AM

Yea RCU doesn't force encryption but we do. Do you see the big guys like Google, FB, and YouTube secure? Ours is forced secure, if you don't see that then there is something between you and us (like an ISP) that is effecting that. Try from a different provider too like a cell phone company not owned by the same internet company to see if this the the same. I would be interested in seeing why we are not forced in your area. Can you try manually adding it for me?

sevoblast 11-02-2018 06:07 AM

Yup, give me a few minutes to give it a try.

sevoblast 11-02-2018 06:19 AM

Shows up as 'not secure', two different servers and three different firewalls and no firewall, plus google and google chrome.

Imex-Erik 11-02-2018 01:42 PM

So FB, YT, and Google also showed up as insecure?

Maybe that's why Al Bundy and the members of "NOMAAM" have always said, "It is wrong to be French". ;) :) :p

Crius, someone went to a lot of work to hack the domain name, and my hacker says no doubt from France. Both domains work now, etoarmour.com and etoarmor.com. I've spoken to my hacker....ooops, site guru... and he'll be working on the 'not secure' today. The 'not secure' doesn't really matter, no payment data is on my site and never will be, all that is handled via personal email and even then, it's simply payment instructions for paypal.
As for 'France', later this morning someone is going to feel some pain, 'this morning' being my time, eight ahead of East Coast Time.

Site is good, up and rolling for both names, etoarmour.com and etoarmor.com.
