IMPACT M26 Pershing “chevron” tracks?

Can anyone direct me in how to find a set of the IMPACT M26 Pershing tracks. I am told they only sell them through Facebook. Since I don’t do Facebook (for a lot of reasons) I am kinda SOL going that route. I have looked everywhere else online with no luck. Does anyone have a direct email for IMPACT that I could contact them through? If so could you PM me with it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Below are what I am looking for.

Message them on facebook, I just got my track pads delivered yesterday, super fast shipping.

FB best approach to take if you want anything from IMPACT. I ordered some M26 sprockets yesterday & I'll have them late next week.

Keep in mind they aren't restocking so you'll need to look over their photos first & send them a message to inquire on stock status.

If anyone is in the market for their Panther mantlet &/or PE fret, I came across several from the old days packed away in a carton in the back of my kit stash. If anyone is interested let me know; otherwise they go on e-Bay.

What's on the PE fret? Does it have the spare track link holders?

And how much would you want for it, shipped to Detroit?

The "Lion Roar" IMPACT PE does have the hull track holders, but they are pretty flimsy for RC. SCHUMO makes a sturdier product.

Thanks Jeff. I'll take a look at schumo. I still want to put the metal spare track links on both my Panther and my jagdpanther.

Thanks everyone for your input. A member of the L.A. Tank Club was able to provide me with a direct email so I did not have to go through opening a Facebook account to contact them. Tracks have been purchased and are already on the way.

IMPACT tracks arrived early today and are ready to see combat this weekend in San Diego!!! For those of you that emailed me with information and asking to see the finished (?) application here it is. The tracks were intended for use on my "close contact" M41 IR battle tank as seen in another topic posting earlier in July. I needed something more aggressive then Tamiya M26/M4 tracks, but not as aggressive as the DKLM Abrams tracks it had been running.

I did some initial side by side rough terrain testing running the IMPACT tracks against the Tamiya tracks swapping them between both my M41s and was pleased to see that the IMPACT tracks are not just all show. They handily outperformed the Tamiya tracks on climbing and soft sand obstacles and were easily a match in all other aspects. Like Tamiya though the IMPACT tracks show signs that they will wear down fast under my hard use style of driving.

So here is what they look like on my M41. Your constructive input is welcome.

Head on view.

Back end. Going to have to change out the spare tracks to match.

Side by side with my other M41. Left (grn M41) running Tamiya M26 Pershing tracks and right (tan M41) are the IMPACT M26 Pershing tracks.

That IS sharp looking with the new shoes.

Did you get complete tracks or just the pads to swap in to the stock tracks?

RichJohnson 07-27-2019 07:20 AM

His are complete track sets with the metal center guides. He told me they are a little bit heavier than tamiya sets. I have the pads that I plan to put into tamiya sherman tracks for one tank and then on my m47 build as well.

As Rich said above I did purchase the complete tracks. I needed them to have metal center guide teeth as the plastic ones Tamiya's M26 track use tend to break easily under higher power loads (390s at 9.6v through 3:1 gearbox) when clogging of the sprocket occurs by sandy/rocky dirt or mud.

pitstain 07-27-2019 03:43 PM

Hah, i only got blocks when I asked for my M51 and M26, I didnt know I could order complete tracks for them.....

Fsttanks 07-31-2019 09:48 AM

I was asked to post a photo of the IMPACT tracks on my other M41 used during testing so here it is. Really gives it a heavier tank look.

Those look great! I love the work you've done to transform the HL Bulldog into something else.
