KV1 Repaint -- Call it a favor...... (DAK LABS)
 

Every now and then I feel the urger to repaint a tank just to get a cool scheme I have seen out of my head. In this case club XO Kenny had a KV-1E longing for more than the stock HL plastic.
Challenge accepted.... First I pre-shaded with lighter greens and then white coat. Camo colors and chipping with Tru-Color paints. Wash was michaels craft paint... the cheaper the better. Slogan was red paint Marker.....

That looks really nice. I like the pattern. All it needs is snow.

Looks great! If Texas could have a harsh winter then maybe Arizona too ;)

I have a KV-1 that looks like that too, but not quite as well-weathered. Its contrasting colours and splinter effect gives it a dazzle effect on the battlefield.

Nice job, very close to that sample art, very sharp! I was determined from the start to beat mine up!
