Exchange rates

Most of you guys probably already know this, but for anyone in the United States that's planning on buying anything from Europe or the UK, right now the dollar is extremely strong and this is a very good time to buy. You'll get the most for your dollar right now, the dollar is 1 to 1 against the Euro, and $1.19 to the pound. That's the best rate against the pound that I've ever seen, and the rate against the Euro hasn't been this good for about 20 years. So, if you need anything from Ian at RCtankElectronics, or any of the vendors on the continent, you will definitely get the most for your dollar right now.

;):D

Ah yes, I remember when the pound was rock steady at $5 and gold was fixed at $35 an ounce.

Actually, I am giving thought to getting one of the new MFUs some guy in Belgium is working on. Has a ir combat setup that distinguishes between 8 different incoming shot directions and the variations in armor in those directions. Might be a good time to order a pair (since while they will do straight tamiya, to get all the fancy effects, like varying armor thickness with facing and taking into account the kind of incoming round), I would need two of them.

Best rate for euros in 40 years 😀. I was under the impression that the euro is available since 2002.... But you are right, if you want to buy expensive stuff like tanks than this si the best moment

But be careful on shipping! It pretty much negates the exchange bonus these days! LOL!

Do not forget to remind the EU Dealer that as an inhabitant of the USA/Canada you are not liable for VAT (Value Added Tax) that 19% saving will make postal charges more bearable
It is worth remembering that the UK is no longer in the EU but still charges VAT so the same advice applies when buying from a dealer in England.

That was a typo, thanks for catching it, it should have said 20, not 40.
