Barrel Raising Problem
 

Hello all!
I just bought a HL Tiger 1 without smoke or sound, and everything but the turret works. It rotates and shoots, but does not raise or lower. If someone could tell me how to disassemble the turret to fix the problem I would greatly appreciate it. Ive searched but could not find any info that helps me. Thanks..

Hi Nighthawk,

It might not be the inside workings of tank. You might want to carefully open the transmitter and check that the metal swipe arm that controls this movement is touching the contacts. This is a common problem on HL (we have 3 and they all had similar problems) and easily remideed. Undo the small screw and remove the arm, bend it to a slightly more acute angle then replace. If this still doesnt work then an investigation of the interior wiring may help.

^Ok thanks, I thought it might have been somthing with the transmitter, due to no noise generated from the tank when I tried to raise the barrel, Ill check that out, Thanks again!
