Metal Tracks(Sharp edges!!!!)

Just a warning, the metal King Tiger tracks from BYA have VERY sharp flashing edges that need to be trimmed before painting or wheathering.
These edges are razor sharp, I found this out while inspecting them out of the box(got a nice slice on my finger from the flashing:().
Be sure to wear leather gloves when first handling(until flash is trimmed)
The flash trims off very easily and they seem to be a nice set of tracks.
Also, super-glue is definetly needed to keep pins from backing out!

NOTE: BYA provided me with excellent service......and tracks look good after cleaning flash(took about 1 hour for both sides)
Also, the pins are the same type as the Tamiya pins(with the small flat head on them)

"BYA never claim that those tracks are from KEnny. the quality is very bad, there are lot os flashes in the king tiger tracks my customer send me.

ask them if those track are from Kenny or not befor you order them. I know kenny make good ones for sure.

thanks,tom "

Udate- These tracks are worth the $$$,tank looks and runs SO cool with them(despite the added weight).
Also, the super-glue on the pin ends worked great! Not a one backed out[8D]

And yes.....my finger still hurts(but was worth it)

jstart121,

Its good to hear that someone else likes the service and products from BYA. I also bought a set of there tracks for my sherman, and after cleaning all the flashing off they work great. I think Tom must have had a truly bad experience to dislike BYA so much.

I agree with Tom, BYA sucks!!! I had an order about $500 of KT stuff and John D- BYA sent me $100 worth of my order. 1 month later I sent him an email when am I going to get the rest of my order and he said " the complete $500 order was shipped and recieved my you a month ago with the first order"! well after many many emails I got every thing. ( he clamed it was shipped but he never did). Yet I still made another order this time about $ 1000 worth for the jagtiger set up. His web site showed everything is stock at the time of ordering. Well after 3 months of BYA with my money and no product I emailed John to send me my money back. Bottom line nothing instock, bad communication, an act of god to get your order period........
