HL Pershing gun
Hello
I have a HL Pershing and I broke the gun that goes on top of the turret, the little gun mount where it pokes in to the hole on the turret. I was wondering if anyone know where I can purchase the mount from. I tried Mato toys but I have had no luck. Its kind of hard to find those accessories on line, so if anyone knows a good place I would really appreciate it. Thanks! Brock [8D]:D |
RE: HL Pershing gun
Can you post a pic of the break? Maybe someone will have some good repair tips.

RE: HL Pershing gun
Agreed:
You mean that little three-legged thing with the post that has the gun on top? I bought a spare turret for some parts, and if I have that part, its yours. If you don't have a camera, borrow a pic of a Pershing turret from someone here, and if you have an image editor, mark the piece you need. WhiteWolf |

I've been thinking about replacing the crapy 50cal on my HL m26 came with this, it's bent, it doesn't fit in the pintle mount and it doesn't have a charging handle. |

Shag:
Thats a copy of the Tamiya .50 cal parts, the styrene ones are dirt cheap. Its ID # 0225094 - V & W sprues, $10 list from TamiyaUSA, less if you buy 'em thru Karen at the AAF Tank Museum. I've got 3 of 'em, and plan on buying a few more. BYA may be carrying more parts now, as that .50-cal is made by AFV-Model, and Axel-Modelbau is marketing a few of the AFV-Model parts. I noticed it the other day when I looked for the repro of the Leo 1A4 MG3 assembly, and found it there under AA-16-313 lising, which I noted is AFV's part sequencing. |

Hi Whitewolf
Where did you get the ID for the parts. I am looking for some other Tamiya 1:16 bits such as King Tiger wheels and would like to get the part numbers for them. Any help greatfully received. Gorehound |
RE: HL Pershing gun
Well I fixed it, I tried to bore the hole out just enough for the mount to set in deeper but that didn't work[:@] so i got mad and glued it[>:] that'll learn it! Not exactly what I wanted to do but it works. I'm going to take some pics today hope to have them posted tonight. Thanks to jstrat and WhiteWolf for the help! [8D]

Gorehound:
The parts ID numbers are right in the manuals. Each sprue & bag has an ID number. If you don't have the relevant manual, you can find most of them on the MAADHQ site in the MAAD-Labs section: http://maadhq.com/html/maad_labs.html The KT wheels may be expensive, it requires 6 styrene sprues, plus the metal roadwheel-rims, a bag of screws, and the bushings & shafts. For prices, I used www.TamiyaUSA.com, and input the reference numbers. 9415937 (Wheel Bushing bag : MF1-3) 9415939 (Shaft Bag : MS1-4) 0005923 (Sprue A : 6 required) 9405055 (Roadwheels : 36 per bag) 9465805 (Screw Bag D) And perhaps the idlers: 9805218 (Idler parts A-C) But a tip on buying: Karen at the AAF Tank Museum can offer significant discounts over the listed MSRP (Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price) that Tamiya lists. You can contact her through the AAF PX: http://www.aaftankmuseum.com/RC%20PX.htm or directly through her e-mail: [email protected] |
RE: HL Pershing gun
Cheers Whitewolf. I will get onto this as soon as I can.
