New here and to R/C tanking
Just dropped in to read the forums, Im new to R/C tanking and have just bought three 1/16th scale tanks, 2 Hen Long and 1 WSN as they were in my price range. First two , the Tiger 1 and T34 arrived already weathered etc, but I tried my first attempt at weathering the M26 Hen Long...anyway any tips and or comments would be very welcome.

Wow...that's cool [X(] Mind sharing how you do the weathering step by step? I also have a Pershing, but after spraying it with a fresh coat of olive drab, I don't really know how to proceed...[:o]

RE: New here and to R/C tanking
I used acyrlic paints mixed to a very watery wash, layered it on step by step, using various shades of gray, black and oranges { rust colour }, I let each layer dry and washed the whole tank again. I now know to 'feather' the wash edges with a wet paper towel. The mud is dirt from my garden, white pva glue and lots of brown acyrlic and then dabbed on using a wet paper towl and old brush, I let the main tank dry and worked on washes of rust colour on the tracks{ these I had taken off to paint }.
