Tank Maintenance

How do you clean and maintain Tamiya RC tanks. I am almost done with my Leo2A6 (whew!). Unfortunately the manual does not mention anything about it. Can you use water or just wipe it with a damp cloth? How about the inside? I cant wait to post my pictures!

Leo2A6: No real maintenance needed on the interior, the exterior wipe off or use mild soap (I just hose down the tracks and wheels to remove mud and grass)

Other Tamiyas: More involved maintenance, you have got the best for maintenance free if there ever was a definition as such!

Apart from mechanical maintenance you have to cater for your tanks psychological needs. Tell your tanks bedtime stories, let them watch the history channel, take them for walks. Be sure to keep the german and allied tanks separated or they will fight just like kids, throw them a henlong occasionally to tear apart, that keeps them happy!:D:D:D

I read him Tamiya bed time stories, "One upon a time, there were great tanks called TAMIYA's, and if you're a good boy, then maybe when you're older, you might grow up to be a Tamiya (NOT!):)
