What Tools are needed?
 

Hi Guys

I was just wondering if you tank gurus might be able to share what tools are at the top of your list for working on tanks, I see some threads on the other forums here but they are for the most part R/C aircraft. this might be helpful to beginners that are just getting into the hobby of RC tanks

Pin Vise & Mini Drill Bits
Good Hobby Knife
Dremel Moto Tool

:DDon't forget a nice screwdriver set.
Oil and some grease

You know what they say: The more the tools, the easier the job!

Being once an ASE Certified BMW Technician I had a head start on tools. But files, sanding sticks, different types of tweezers, drill bits, dremmels and the accesories, pliers, screwdrivers and never throw anything away that might come in handy later.

Oh, and plenty of different types of glues/epoxies and adhesives on hand just in case a tool cannot fix the repair!

Soldering Iron, Digital Multimeter, Hobby Knife set, Measuring tools set (calipers, metal ruler, micrometer, 90), hobby vise and Dremel tool with accessories. That's just the basics to work on, repair and do basic customization!
