King Tiger Battery

What capacity is the battery on a Tamiya King Tiger (56004)?

How long should it run for?

Is there a better battery?

If I changed the motor for the slower integy 55 turn lathe motors (INT SCM 5501), will it run longer?

RE: King Tiger Battery

Hallo Mike,

that depends on you - there comes no battery with it - you have to buy a 7.2 V, but the capacity differs ... saw also people who have put two inside ... but that depends on what specials you want to put in (smoke generator ...)

The kit requires a 7.2V 6-cell flat battery pack with standard Tamiya connector. Capacity varies between different packs, so you decide on what capacity to get.

The running time depends on the capacity of the battery (mAh). The higher the capacity rating in milli amps, the longer the run time.

There are many good 7.2V battery packs on the market. Take your pick. Usually you get what you pay for.
