Mesh for Engine Covers

Hi all,

I need some (1 Square foot) 12 Mesh (12 holes per Inch) for the engine covers on my Tiger. I've tried all the craft suppliers and actual mesh manufacturers. No craft suppliers supply 12 mesh and the manufacturers will only sell in Mertre square bits (lots of £/$). Any ideas?

I don't want to use photo etch (I have the Aber set) as it looks too flat. String mesh is too thin!!! HELP.

If anyone has any 12 mesh they would be willing to part with let me know. I'm in the UK but would be willing to pay reasonable postage for a small piece.

Thanks all...

What about the material that the hardware store makes screen doors out of? Very cheap

Hi
Just a suggestion. Kitchen sieves from pound shop work quite well.

I have a Tamiya photo etch set for the Tiger 1, that I opened but didn't use. I'd sell cheap. It looks pretty flat though, much like the Aber...
