Track Tension
 

How dose a person releave the track tension on a HL PzrIII other than adding an extra link? My track has very little sag to it. I would rather find away to do it than by a new set of tracks for just 2 links and pins

You can make the bellcrank functional. Plenty of pics and different methods over on Panzerkettan, or just drive it around for about 5 hours. They'll loosen up. I've pulled a link out of my oldest Tiger and they're sagging perfectly after another 10 hours of run time. My oldest Pershing, the M26A1s tracks have gotten so loose that I'm nearly at the point of having to pull a link from them too.

I went through the english section on Panzerkettan and couldn't find andything on how to make the bellcrank functional and I can't read german so the main forum is hopeless to me. A link to the article would be greatly appreciated... thanks in advance

I babel fish it but really just go from the pictures. There's 4-5 versions but this one looked simplest to me. It's easy enough to copy. Let's see.... Yeah here's some pictures I've saved:

After looking at the idler mount I figured I would come up with something like swathdiver posted and after seeing the pics he posted confimed what I had thought of doing thanks swathdiver
