panther problem
 
ok guys,i am building the panther and i am building the tension stays,,,on step 3 that i am suppose to put a locknut on the bottom nad the top of the long screw...part MD1...will not slide out...well how can i put the locknut all the way to the bottom ?i am confused....the locknut is part MA4.....my question is why is the long screw sliding out the bottom of the hull?what am i doing wrong?:(

Hi Kurt,

I dont have my instructions in front of me. If you are refering to the track tensioner - you slip the long screws through the bottom, at the back of the hull and then add your first locknut (dont tighten it against the bottm of the hull floor - it needs to spin freely). This keeps the screw from extruding out the bottom of the hull. Follow the instructions regarding the rest.
