Battery Question
Why do some Tamiya tanks take two battery sticks? Could I and would it be beneficial to use two battery sticks in my Sherman?

RE: Battery Question
you COULD use 2 packs in the sherman but it would be a tight fit. I use the standard 2 pack setup in my Tiger 1 and get 2-3 hour run times from it. I also use 3200 and 3600Ma rated batteries. If you can fit 2 packs into a sherman i dont see why it couldnt be done. I know they supply you with a Y connector to bridge the 2 MF and DMD connectors into one.

RE: Battery Question
Go to radio shack and you will likely find their 3300MaH batteries on sale for $19.95. I bought two of them last week. At todays battle I ran my new Sherman ALL DAY on one battery charge and I still have juice to spare. One battery is plenty.

RE: Battery Question
I run one Dura Trax 4200 right now and it lasts awhile at full speed plowing around the back yard. (my son shows no mercy) I was just wondering why some use two. As for room it looks to be enough and they would replace the Y connector. I know I have to get a higher MAH battery for my radio. It dies and I have to recharge way before the tank even gives a hint of weakness.
