Help!
All,
I am doing my Pz III in DAK scheme and as looking for some help. I have seen many pictures of multiple canteens hung off the turret of DAK tanks (water was obviously hard to come by). Does anyone know if german army canteens are available in 1/16th scale? I have found plenty of water cans and fuel cans and some other accessories but think the canteens would be a nice touch. Thanks!!! |

Well I saw some of those 21st Century soldiers at Wally World the other day and they had them. Pretty close.
What unit and time period are you going to depict your tank? |

Not entirely sure, I am researching now. Which ever vehicle markings I like the best I suppose.

Swathdiver is right, your best bet would be the 1:18 Ulitmate Soldier figures. They have lots of cool little scale items to put on your tank. [sm=thumbup.gif] Considering that they are very detailed and easy to find, they are a good deal for the price. My wife says that I just like to play with G.I. Joes. :D

Imperial do a set of German equipment in 1/16 which contains a canteen as well as 2 helmets, gas mask case, bedroll and mess tin http://www.imperial-modellbau.de/shop/index2.htm (its under Zubehor 1/16 then zubehor deutshe then page 8 ) If you email them they may supply just the canteens
