Back Yard Armor
 

Has anyone else had poor business dealings with this guy at Back Yard armor? I placed an order on April 8th, 2007 for various items with a total of over eight hundred dollars. The items started to show up 2 months later and others 9 months later after countless e-mails were sent which went un answered? I'm still waiting for several items worth a hundred dollars. I tried a Resolution with Pay Pal, but since I used a credit card I'm not protected with garanteed refunds.
I wanted to share this with everyone and its a shame because in the past when I ordered things were shipped kind of slow due to back orders and such. But I always got what I paid for until then.
When I spend this kind of money I would at least expect a return e-mail.
Let me know if anyone else out there has experienced this please.

Ordered from them last year around Nov. Had to go through Pay Pal to get my money back. Did not hear from them or receive my parts. No response to mine or Pay Pal's e-mails.

Yup. Do a search and you will find out that you were not the first. Or second, or third, or fourth… sorry man.

Have you tried filing a complaint with the Credit Card company (bank)? Getting a problem resolution from PayPal is next to impossible. Lots of posts about that also.

I dont see why people still do buisness with him. All the stuff he sells is available through other more reliable online distributors.

Thats to bad. I got lucky and got all my stuff quickly when I ordered from them about a year ago.

No I have not explored that option with the card company yet. I may try that.
And had I known earlier of his ( BYA ) track record, I would not have continued business there. Obviously I've missed out on previous postings of this issue. I spend alot of my time in the RC boat section here. Thanks to all who have answered and may this recent thread help others avoid a potential future misfortune like many of us have already experienced!

He's spotty! I've ordered a few times I quick 1 so slow you almost did'nt remember you ordered it. He need to sell out to some one that gives a dam!!!

because i used to talk to him about getting a tiger 1 lasty yuear...when i try to call him now,all i get is his voice mail....i have not had any luck anymore...
last year ,i got lucky cause he gave me this number to call him to chat...

in the beginning all was good but now its horrible....try that number because his voice is on the voicemail ........
