No brainer for most of what I want out of a tank! :D:D:D soooo much better, more reliable, upgradable, longer range, and you have 7 channels to choose from instead of 3! Being a tech geek I do kind of like the programming feature on the NON S & S boards but it is just a tease, If I could program it to traverse the yard everyday... well that would be cool IMO! the Blitz [sm=shades_smile.gif] |

(Being a newbie myself and with little disposable income I've been able to pick up 2 new Non S&S for less than the price of a single S&S tank. I also enjoy the modelling side, but as the Heng Longs are prebuilt the only way to meet this need and to create the tank/toy i want is to upgrade them both. I'm really enjoying the process and avidly read the posts to try and get the best kit. Recently a thread has started about the gear boxes this is great for me as that's what I'll be looking for soon and any info is an advantage.) :D:D |

Plus I can imagine that it must be quite fun to upgrade them (one word ELMod*). I vote 1, but mainly for the better speed control. I would certainly buy a non-S&S version for parts. I've spent way to much on this new hobby though so I'm hoping HL release some Non S&S Panzer IVs for me to snap up and upgrade. *or is it too? hmm... |

I was going to vote 1, but the El Mod angle for guys that want to go to 2.4 GHz means that there may indeed be a market for 2.
